Jomtien Beach
| Just five kilometers south of
Pattaya city there is a second beach very popular: Jomtien Beach. You can reach it easily
with baht busses or by your own. Just drive up the hill of the "Big Buddha"
and go down till you reach the sea. We
have to admit that this beach is certainly more popular, beautiful and clean then the one
in Pattaya. Also here it is more fun to play any of the many sports, like: water
scooter - windsurf - "banana ride" - parasailing - swimming etc... Meanwhile
after dusk there is nothing to do... almost no restaurants and strictly no "night
life" nor even shopping or cinema. The more left or the more right you are walking, the less people you will find, but also the less activities. On Sundays and other holidays, the beach can be really crowdy. . |
