GO-KARTS

This picture as been taken at the
Pattaya Kart
Speed way

There are not less than 4 kart tracks in Pattaya. The one's the author prefers are under Swiss management and the oldest tracks in Pattaya. Why do we prefer them? Because we find them the most friendly and the less pretentious. Another reason why we prefer these tracks is that in the direct neighbourhood, you find 3 other attractions that can be great fun, mostly if you are with friends.
.
One of the track is 800 meters long, nicely design with water waiting for the clumsy. Moreover there are a few types of karts to choose from and all of them are very good and well maintained.
.

 .
.
The other one is only 400 meters long and design for beginners and children over
6 years old. All karts as well maintained and there are even karts with a passenger seat (!)
.
To find them is easy: just follow the plan and instructions given here under...

for an afternoon of fun,
sports, and emotions

.

./a/

These 2 tracks are near Soi Theprasit (near the mouth of Soi 17) look for this large sign on your left hand when coming from Jomtien. Less than 100 meters before these tracks you will find an "off-road" track (same owner) and the PAINTBALL PARK as well as the Bungee Jumpee. So if you are with a bunch of friends, here you can spend a whole afternoon of emotions and fun for much less than it would cost you in your own country.

The International
track

.
The international track is also Soi Thep Prasit and, in fact, just on the opposite site of the Soi where you will find the
Pattaya Kart Speed way. The track is perfect, the karts well maintained and there is 3-4 types of karts with different performances to choose from.
.
What we don't like, is the fact that it looks a little cold and pretentious. What I also didn't like because I found it dangerous: They allowed a kid to drive a kart while there were 3 other karts racing together on the same track. The kid was driving at around 25-30 km/h while the adults were driving at a speed over 80.

The Mini-Siam
track

.

This track is part of the "Mini-Siam   park" on Sukhumvit road (between Naklua and North Pattaya Road, almost in front the Bangkok-Pattaya Hospital).
.
It is a nice track (design by Michel Gillard a French former champion of Thailand) But in our opinion the premises lack atmosphere.
