For six years the Hippo Restaurant has been known as one of the best "table' for French and Belgian food, with real French bread and affordable wine in carafe or in bottle.

Also what made it popular was that if you came with Thai friends, they could order Thai food from our Thai Kitchen (The Thai Kitchen from the Welkom Inn) and this food is real- ly delicious too.

As we had spare space around the swimming pool, last year we decided to try to bring a new kind of divertissement to Pattaya and we have open the first European style cabaret in town... at least the only one where you could enjoy a quality show while dining or drin- king in good company.

It is nor an X rated show nor a Walt Disney production! But children can enjoy it till bed time (11-12 PM), and you would not be ashamed to make your mother stay till the end!

We also did not want to offer you only folks dances or a show with all artists being Lady Men or - if you prefer - transvestites.

It is why at the Hippo Restaurant and Cabaret at least half the artists are girls, real one and some of them are great... like "Punk" who is so talented that her fans have nicknamed her:
"Madona"

And next time you come to Pattaya don't forget to come and see them for real!
We have a different show every night that starts between 8.30 and 9 PM
and last till well after midnight
